A. Program Duration 
     Master’s programs must be completed within 1-4 years.

B. Course Requirements
(For 2016-2018 academic year)

Graduation Credits : 33 credits

Required course : 3 credits

(Research Methodology and Thesis Writing)

Elective course : 30 credits

(Students could take a maximum of 9 credits outside of our Institute)

Non-russian language background students are required to make up elementary russian courses at least 4 credits before graduation


(From 2019 academic year)

Graduation Credits : 33 credits

Required course : 6 credits

1. Research Method (3 credits)
2. Theories of International   Relations (3 credits)  or  Political Economy (3 credits)  《choose 1 out of 2》

Elective course : 27 credits

(Students could take a maximum of 9 credits outside of our Institute)

Non-russian language background students are required to make up elementary russian courses at least 4 credits before graduation


1. Students are required to complete a minimum of 33 credit hours of graduate course.
2. Students may not enroll in more than 15 credits per semester. 
3. Students could take a maximum of 9 credits outside of our Institute.
4. Non-russian language background students are required to make up 
    elementary russian courses at least 4 credits before
graduation.

 

C. About the Thesis

Students who have completed 18 graduation credits



Submit the thesis proposal



Students who have completed 33 graduation credits



Apply for thesis oral defense

   
1.
Students who have completed 18 credits may submit a thesis proposal to be approved  
    by 
three committee members (at least) as the qualification evaluation.

2. Thesis may be written in Chinese, Russian or English.
3. An interval of four months is required between approval of thesis proposal and the 
    official 
degree examination.
