This guide outlines the mandatory registration and payment procedures for all students for the Fall 2026 semester. Adherence to these deadlines and institutional policies is required to maintain enrollment status and ensure access to university resources.

 

1. Critical Deadlines & Essential Links

The following dates are critical for maintaining your student status for the 115-1 semester. Failure to comply with these dates will trigger administrative penalties.

2. Student-Specific Registration Timelines

Registration requirements and tuition availability vary by student classification. Please follow the instructions specific to your status.

  1. Freshman and Graduate Freshmen
  • Tuition Statement Availability: Statements may be downloaded starting August 28, 2026.
  • Mandatory Health Examination: All newly admitted students must complete a health examination as required by the Ministry of Education.
  • Access Restriction: If the health examination is not completed within two weeks after the first day of school, your iNCCU account access will be suspended.
  1. Returning and Other Students
  • Tuition Statement Availability: Statements may be downloaded starting August 10, 2026.

3. Course Selection & Academic Schedule

Course selection is conducted via the online selection system. All inquiries regarding selection procedures should be directed to the Registration Section at ext. 63279.

  • Course Lookup: Available starting July 13, 2026.
  • First Initial Selection: August 25 - August 26, 2026.
  • Second Initial Selection: August 31 - September 2, 2026.
  • Classes Formally Begin: September 7, 2026.
  • Add-Drop Period: September 7 - September 14, 2026.

4. Payment Phase I: Registration Fees

  • Deadline: Friday, September 11, 2026 (Students must pay registration fees (or full tuition, depending on status) before this date.)
  • Payment Methods:
    • First Bank counters nationwide (requires a printed payment slip).
    • Convenience stores (requires a printed payment slip).
    • Automated Teller Machines (ATM) and Online Banking transfers.
    • Telephone voice transfer.
    • Taiwan-issued Credit Cards, China-issued UnionPay, and Taiwan PAY.
  • Verification: Retain your receipt or digital proof of payment for future verification.
  • Delayed Registration (September 12 - September 29): During this late period, payment is strictly restricted to First Bank counters or ATMs (including online banking).

5. Payment Phase II: Credit & Supplemental Fees

  • Deadline: Friday, November 13, 2026 (Statements for Stage II will be available for download starting October 12, 2026.)

Who must pay Stage II fees?

  • Master’s and Ph.D. students (enrolled in Ph.D., Master’s, or undergraduate courses).
  • Students using language and audiovisual facilities (Language Learning Equipment Fee).

6. Penalties for Non-Compliance

The University strictly enforces registration deadlines. Non-compliance will result in the following administrative actions:

  • LOSS OF ENROLLMENT STATUS: Under Article 13, students who fail to complete registration, payment, or status deferral within two weeks after the deadline will face immediate consequences. New students will have their enrollment removed. Existing students will be placed on suspension or have their admission withdrawn.
  • LATE PAYMENT FEES: For approved retroactive payments, a late fee is charged at 1% of the original fee for every two days past due. This is capped at 15% of the fee or a maximum of NT$2,000.
  • ACADEMIC FAILURE: Failure to pay Stage II Credit Fees by the November 13 deadline will result in a grade of zero for all course assessments for that semester.

7. Mandatory Administrative Procedures

  1. Refund Policy & Account RequirementsStudents applying for a leave of absence or termination of studies receive refunds on a pro-rated schedule (Full, 2/3, or 1/3 refund based on the date of application).
  • New Students: To process a refund, you must provide your First Bank or Taiwan Post account information to the Cashier Section.
  • Inquiries: Refund procedures for new students are handled by the Admissions Section (ext. 63279).
  1. Student Housing (Dormitory Residents)
  • Move-in Date: Undergraduate residents may move in starting August 29, 2026.
  • Fire Prevention Workshop: Attendance is mandatory for all new residents. Failure to attend results in 8-10 penalty points. Per the Dormitory Management Guidelines, accumulating 10 penalty points results in a mandatory move-out order.
  1.  International & Overseas Chinese Students: Compliance with the Immigration Law is a vital interest for all non-domestic students.
  • Visa & ARC: International students must apply for an ARC within 30 days of arrival and renew it before expiration. Changes of address must be reported to the immigration agency within 15 days.
  • Overseas Chinese Students: Students holding a Taiwan ID must bring a copy of the ID to the LGOCSAS office before enrollment to confirm their status.
