Recommendation-based selection for the “Polish Government Scholarship for the 110 Academic Year”
I.Pursuant to the Ministry of Education's letter dated Feburary 8 , 2021, No. 1100020947 (Taiwan Education Culture (III) Letter)
II. 5 recommended candidates
III.Award Period: For students studying in Poland starting September 2021, the award period is as follows: one academic year for language courses, two academic years for master's programs, and four academic years for doctoral programs.
IV. Financial Support: Please refer to the attached Ministry of Education Selection Guidelines.
V.Qualification of Apply
1.Nationality of the Republic of China
2.Undergraduate students in their third year or above.
3.Individuals who have not previously received this scholarship.
4. Possess one of the following language proficiency requirements: Applicants who have completed at least one year of Polish language coursework at the university and earned formal academic credits; or those who have completed at least one year of English language coursework with an average grade of 80 or higher; or those who have obtained a language proficiency certificate from any institution listed at the B2 level in the “Correspondence Table of English Proficiency Tests and the CEFR Framework” (Attachment 1).
5. After receiving the award, the recipient must sign an affidavit guaranteeing that during the award period, they will not engage in illegal employment or undertake positions incompatible with their student status.
VI. Application Deadline and Submission Location: Applications must be submitted to Ms. Yang in International Education Section of the Office of International Cooperation by 17:00 on Tuesday, March 9, 2021. Late submissions will not be accepted.Please arrange the application materials in the specified order, prepare four copies, and secure them with a paper clip.

3. Autobiography and study plan (including motivation for studying in Poland and at the intended institution), each written in Polish or English.
4.Personal Experience and Outstanding Performance Statement or Certificate (If none, omit)
5. Bachelor diploma (graduating students of the 2020 academic year must submit by July 2021) and transcript.

7.One letter of recommendation (written in Polish or English)
VII.If the number of applicants exceeds the recommended quota, International Cooperation plans to hold an oral interview on the afternoon of Tuesday, March 16, 2021, to determine the university's recommended candidates (calculated as 50% oral interview and 50% academic record). The oral interview will be conducted in Polish, English, or Chinese, with the following criteria: 1. Written Materials: Including autobiography, introduction to Poland, study plan, academic transcripts, personal experience, and outstanding achievements. 25 points. 2. Character and Attitude: Including appearance, manners, demeanor, composure, and international etiquette. 25 points. 3. Verbal and Communication Skills: Includes thinking and responsiveness, verbal expression, English and Polish language proficiency, logical concepts, etc., accounting for 25 points. 4. Academic Knowledge and Current Affairs Understanding: Academic knowledge and understanding of current affairs, accounting for 25 points.
